is this a good deal for namebrand 256Gb card that works in Wyze cameras? (I dont care about Nintendo Switch).https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-25...0B7NV73PJ/
I would not use express cards for anything video related.

Really good price for a 256gb micro sd card in this current era of storage prices. Probably not good for something like a dash cam, I would go with one of the Endurance variants. Good for a Nintendo switch.
True but not largely irrelevant. This has nvme tech which hardly nothing (yet) supports.. switch 2 being one to the few. The speeds are a huge leap over all prior SD cards

I'm not 100% sure, but for a camera, or something that is going to be used almost constantly, you'd want to get a microSD that is designed more for endurance rather than speed. I think both cards in the OP aren't designed for constant writes/rewrites, so they may not last as long in a device like a video camera (dash cam, outdoor mounted camera, etc.). They should technically work, but they might deteriorate faster than one designed for constant use.

Any reason NOT to get one of these for a DJI Drone? The drones are all UHS-I so this Samsung P9 Express should max out the speed capabilities.

DJI recommends a Lexar Professional Silver Plus Micro SD Card, UHS-I, C10, U3, V30.

Because you don't need to pay extra for an *express card* that your HW can't even utilize

There was one 1-2 weeks ago for $150 on Amazon but definitely not the $80ish price point from January.

Amazon has the Samsung P9 Express microSD Express Card 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2 on sale for $39.99 (was $79.99).
• 256GB Storage Capacity
• microSD Express Technology
• Up to 800 MB/s Read Speed
• Designed for Nintendo Switch 2
• A1 Performance Rating
• Prime Shipping Available
• Rated 4.8/5 Stars
Lowest price I've seen so far on a Samsung-branded microSD Express card for Switch 2. Great option for expanding storage while taking advantage of faster load times and downloads.
