I got excited until I saw these are all 3rd party sellers, so your warranty is void. One of which has 100% feedback but the majority of their recent feedback is deleted 1 star ratings of people complaining they got used products sold as new...

I sold my Neo for around this price. I wish there were deals on Neo 2. The Neo 1 is a little flakey. It has hit stuff while following me, sometimes it gets lost while tracking, the video quality is also quite bad. But it's fun for a toy. Just don't expect to get any quality video from this...and don't be surprised if it flies away or crashes into a tree at some point lol

it doesn't matter who you buy the drone from or where you buy it, all Americans are going to have to get used to flying their DJI drones without full warranty support from DJI. There nowhere in the world to buy one and get a clear warranty from DJI in the US; that's gone. It's not time to start thinking about insurance, credit card warranty, 3rd party plans, and similar. It's not the end of the world since most DJI drones are well made and largely free of manufacturers defects. Your warranty is not void, you just won't be able to easily make a claim with DJI due to the current circumstances.

DJI Neo is a tiny, beginner friendly selfie and FPV style drone that is especially good for quick indoor flights, learning manual control, and casual shots around people. The built in prop protection makes it feel sturdy, and adding the remote or Fly More bundle unlocks much better range and a more enjoyable flying experience. Battery life is short at about 15 minutes, and phone control is clunky with limited range. It can struggle in wind, low light, and tracking, so it works best as a fun starter drone rather than a polished camera rig.

Common Questions (5)

  • It is lightweight and more susceptible to wind than a Mini 4K, and it can struggle with tracking, obstacles, and low light. It is better suited to calm conditions and simple selfie or indoor use than precise outdoor flying.

  • The listings are from third-party Amazon sellers, which can create warranty and condition concerns. DJI support in the US is currently limited or unclear, so buyers may need to rely on the merchant, insurance, or credit-card protection if something goes wrong.

  • No, this deal is for the DJI Neo 1, not the Neo 2, and the base setup is controller-free. It can be flown from a phone for short-range selfie-style shots, but the remote unlocks much better range and control.

    PurplePartner181ptr628trombotmadmax718

  • Battery life is about 15 minutes per battery. The Fly More bundle adds a triple-bay charger and extra batteries, which helps because topping them off before flight is important for getting the most runtime.

    trombotnew_yorkeratarilynxmadmax718

  • Yes. It is described as a fun starter drone that is small, crash-tolerant with prop protection, and good for learning manual flight in confined areas or around people. It is also useful for indoor or home flying, though it is not a high-speed drone.

I have a Mini4k and recently bought this bundle. If you are a beginner the difference between Neo1 and Neo2 aren't anything huge. The $200 price difference doesn't get you anything super magical. (obstacle sensing) but it's not perfect. The Neo1 is a tough little thing that can take a hit and keep on working just fine. I picked up this bundle as a cheap/fun way to try out first person flying with the goggles and motion controller. Only downside with the Neo line, they are incredibly lightweight (149g) and are more susceptible to wind vs things like a Mini 4k.

I agree with you. I think the drone out of the box is a fun selfie drone, but adding the remote absolutley makes it a much more fun beginner drone.
Wasn't fun when I flew it on a trip to Mexico and it zipped away into the ocean. NEVER had that happen before.

I also have 7 other other DJI Minis and FPV drones (shhh don't tell my wife). So *probably* not user error. Lol

I've read it has some serious documented issues that could not be fixed by firmware. That's why they introduced the all new Neo2 only 1yr later.

Flying over water can mess up the downward positioning cameras.
