If you already eat at Chipotle regularly and can use the Amazon credit, this is basically an easy 20% return. The key is whether you'll actually spend the $10 promo credit before it expires. For frequent Chipotle customers, this is about as close to free money as it gets.

Has anyone received the $10 promo credit yet? If so, does it show up in your payment methods / wallet? The OP says it won't show up in your gift cards, but I'm wondering if its listed somewhere else. I received confirmation of the credit from Amazon, but it'll be easy to forget if it's not listed somewhere.

It only shows up in your cart when you purchase something from Amazon.com. I made a purchase 15 minutes after buying the card and it applied. It actually applied $20 for some reason (maybe I had another $10 credit I was unaware of?)

It's mildly annoying, but who cares? Why would anyone have unused balances? You can pay for an order with whatever is left on a gift card, and it'll then charge the remainder to your credit card. It isn't a big deal.
