Community Reviews
These Seventh Generation Free and Clear dishwasher packs are being framed as a strong low price on a plant based pod, with checkout math putting them around 9 cents per pod when Subscribe and Save, multibuy discounts, and digital credits stack. The appeal is convenience and a cleaner ingredient profile, especially for households avoiding harsh chemicals or PVAs. The main cautions are performance and packaging concerns, with reports of extra suds, soapy film, and weaker cleaning on stuck on grease or silverware. A practical option if the price matters more than maximum cleaning power.
Common Questions (4)
They are a poor fit for shoppers trying to avoid plastic, since some users stopped buying pods for that reason and switched to alternatives like Blueland tablets or granular detergent. The low price still makes them tempting for people focused on savings.
At $11.96 for 72 pods, the price works out to about $0.17 per pod. With the multibuy, Subscribe & Save, and digital credit math, some checkout totals land closer to about $0.09-$0.10 per pod.
Yes. Switching to Subscribe & Save can trigger a $15.90 off coupon, and the checkout math also shows additional S&S savings on top of the multibuy discount.
They can struggle with pans and dishes that have stuck-on grease, and work better when the load is only mildly dirty. Some users prefer other brands like Costco pods for tougher grease removal.
