It's the same with the HD-560s but you can easily use the Peace equalizer on PC to make them sound AMAZING and no longer flat. They are just flat out of the box because they are reference headphones.

From what I've seen, this is the lowest price these headphones have been maybe ever? If I didn't already own a pair of HD650s I'd be on this in a heartbeat. Speaking of: the HD650 headphones are $285 during Prime Day [amazon.com]. Yes, the HD6xx is essentially the same headphone but cheaper, but I personally really like the build of the HD650.

I have had the 580's for over 20 yrs. Crazy good quality headphones. You should get an amp for them though.
