A lot of people are worried about the lack of rich push notifications, but you can get them via setting up Home Assistant or Frigate NVR, or, the easiest way IMO is using the email image option and sending it to the Pushover app ($5 one time fee, unlimited pushes). The only issue you're going to hit is with how many images are being sent via your email address per day. If it's going to be more than 50ish, you'll need a domain name and a deticated email host. Luckily MxRoute has great BF deals available year round. I've been getting 1000+ images sent a day reliably for over two years now. https://mxroute.blackfr
This Omvi is a good camera at this sale current sale price. The 4K PT camera is very clear and detailed and features a "2x fixed zoom equivalent", I do not think it's a $299/$319 camera, however. It's just a bit buggy, and will hopefully be fixed via future firmware updates, but then again, Reolink doesn't always seem to address issues people find and have, but other times they do. You also need to mount it fairly low if you want as much usable FoV from the 180º as possible. The manual says 8-12', but if you're going above 10', you're going to want to wedge it to tilt it down a bit, or just accept you're not going to see what's within 10' or so on the ground below the camera in the middle. The 180º supports 20fps, 8192kbps, while PT supports 20fps and 7168kbps stream quality.
Watch LifeHackster's review on YouTube, there is one or two minor differences between the PoE and WiFi version, I think when it comes to the kbps recording quality, which is a bit lower on the wifi model for some unknown reason.
And if you're going to be recording 24/7 to a MicroSD card, you're going to want Samsung Pro Endurance or SanDisk Max Endurance cards, which currently cost a small fing fortune compared to last year. Normal cards are fine if you just record motion events. Haven't really tested this camera yet, but the other Reolinks tend to have a decent pre-record buffer before the detected motion event happens. I run all mine to an NVR for 24/7 recording, and have the SD cards only for motion events as backup.

Support was useless, as expected.
Same issue happened with another camera brand (Arlo, I think), but I returned to Costco
Their solar powered cameras are definitely shit, and very hit and miss. The Argus 4 Pro is pretty damn solid, but the rest of them, including the Altas are buggy at best.
