I have a portable generator that will power my whole home but still considering this. For $400, it's good for the "is power coming back soon or should I haul out the beast?" This will keep the fridge cold and the WiFi running for a couple hours before I decide to take one for the neighborhood and hook up my generator, just in time for Murphy's Law to kick in and we instantly get power back.

Yeah it hit $350 on BF 2025 but $400 isn't bad. Shame it loses the battery expansion port from Gen 1 though. It is easily modded to accept any 48V LFP battery
