I only use 20W-105 for absolute best protection during summer and 10W-55 in winter time.
I have been using this in my hybrid for the last 2 days. Nothing has happened.

agreed. I had a car that had an oil burning issue while using the recommended 0W-20. I switched to 5W-30, and the oil consumption basically disappeared.
It seems like a lot of modern cars are designed very thin oils mainly to squeeze out a little better fuel economy and meet emissions standards. While thin oil works fine, it actually burn much more easily than a thicker oil.

thin oil will also suffer worse from fuel dilution as the motor ages. not sure how much mpg impact youll see at 0w16 vs 0w30/5w30/etc would be neat to see a comparison
