Love these headphones . I have a huge head and they are still comfortable to wear all day at the office . Really helps cut down on the noise and helps me concentrate on work .

Amazon's comes with 30 days return policy and a hardshell box cover. Costco's comes with costco's return policy and a soft sleeve cover for the headphones. I heard similar prices were also available at bestbuy, Bose, etc. I went with Costco.

My bose QC had some weird static noise when starting/stopping a music or video. Its a known issue with the bluetooth that I couldnt figure out

The xm5 has a widely known hinge issue. Mine broke after a year and a couple months too. Just based on that I'd go with Bose. I have a couple versions older quietcomfort set as well and I must say they feel very comfortable over your ears

I will share my experience with another Sony product just for another anecdote. I bought these after my Sony WH-1000XM4's broke. I bought the Bose instead of the XM5's because of the reported hinge issue on the XM5's. These Bode headphones have a stronger build quality than the XM4's, but honestly the comfort and noise cancelling are worse than Sony's (to me). Still very good and by no means a bad deal for these head phones, but I miss the XM4's.

Thanks for the comment. I had the older beats Pro over the ear. From about eight years ago. They still were great, but they hurt my ears after a long flight. I bought the Sony 1000 XM5 , but I may think about these Bose
