Good lens, very neutral rendering (similar to GM) so the images are easy to work with, and extremely sharp in the center. Corners never get amazing but are still pretty solid. AF is super fast due to the double linear motors (even if they're not the top end XD ones). 67mm filter thread is very convenient as well.

I have it and like it, though it definitely is a bit of an awkward zoom range. I use it because I have shoulder/neck issues that make carrying my old Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 a hassle. The Tamron 20-40 f/2.8 is also an excellent option and even lighter. The Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 or Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 G2 are good alternatives if you're ok with losing the 4mm on the wide end.

This is very weird focal length. 24-70 - 20mm any way g master are always great glass... I use 24-70 sigma cheaper and 99.9% same quality
