Air3s has better flight time, can fly in windier conditions, has the zoom lens (which I find is pretty awesome to have), so I'm not sure about that comment. The Mini has the same/similar main wide camera and is smaller (portability and if it matters to your use case about it being under the 250g classification). They are good for different things.
