This reconditioned Sonos Arc deal stands out as a near new Dolby Atmos soundbar at a steep discount, with many units arriving sealed in original Sonos packaging and looking indistinguishable from new. The Arc is praised for clear dialogue, easy setup, and a big upgrade over TV speakers, especially in Sonos home theater setups with rears or a sub. The main caveat is that the Arc alone has limited bass and works best with eARC for full functionality. Packaging, included accessories, and the free wall mount coupon appear inconsistent, so the exact contents can vary.
Common Questions (5)
It works with both ARC and eARC, but eARC unlocks the full feature set and higher-bandwidth audio support. Without eARC, you can still use it, but you lose the added benefits and may not get lossless audio.
Some boxes include a postcard or flyer with a code for a free Sonos wall mount, but not every unit has it. When present, the code can be redeemed on Sonos' site for a 100% discount; some buyers without the code were able to get a one-time exception from Sonos support.
The listing text and multiple deliveries indicate it is a Sonos-certified factory refurb sold through Walmart, with the same 1-year warranty, accessories/manuals, and pristine packaging. Several units arrived sealed in original Sonos boxes and looked brand new.
No, the Arc is the soundbar only; the subwoofer shown in some images is a separate product. For fuller bass, many buyers plan to add a Sonos Sub or Sub Mini later.
It can be plenty for casual TV watching and as a big upgrade over built-in speakers, but bass-heavy music and dynamic movies benefit from adding a sub. Several buyers say the Arc alone is fine at first, then later add a Sub or Sub Mini for more low end.

Reconditioned is not a word which Sonos uses on the Arc SL refurbished page.
And any company can say "refurbished", any company can say "refurbished Sonos Arc", but not any company can say refurbished by Sonos.
Many people were lucky with this deal, but you were not.
Even if you have to buy a power cord, AND it works flawlessly, it is an outstanding deal.
