Also, I think a sub really needs to be paired with an Arc 1 to really maximize it, whereas it is much less of a need with an Arc Ultra. If a refurb Arc Ultra landed at $500 and one had the budget to go that route, that's what I'd do instead.

The speech enhancements in the Sonos app have been tweaks and it works fine now. I'm hearing disabled and have no issues with dialog on our Samsung TV.
Also, I think a sub really needs to be paired with an Arc 1 to really maximize it, whereas it is much less of a need with an Arc Ultra. If a refurb Arc Ultra landed at $500 and one had the budget to go that route, that's what I'd do instead.
