These are junk . I have to return one after using one day. Motor doesn't seem to be brushless and start making a noise fast. Also turning the thing off is a pain. I have two more to check out but fear i will have to return those as well.

Wow, I'm in Hong Kong and went to the electronic market yesterday. Exact same price after conversion.

Except no taxes here.

Out dated design. Get the one that folds so you can aim it to where you want it to.

Edit: I'm retracting this comment in response to some of the replies. YMMV but take a look at the replies if noise is a factor for you.

Original comment: If this uses those Dyson-style micro turbines (and it probably does, based on the size), you should really consider whether you want to hold a high pitched shrieking device next to your face when you're just trying to cool off. Very uncomfy. Good deal on a bad product.

I got this last week, same price. I liked it at first because it is powerful. Probably the most powerful portable fan I have. However, then I got the Divesblue deal for the smaller fan that folds and you are right. That is much more functional especially the ability to use as a neck fan. It's not as powerful as this but it's functionality and smaller size outweighs the lesser power and probably battery life. I am probably going to return this and get a second of the other one.

I take it you don't own this or you are very sensitive to noise. It's not that bad at all.

I have 5 of these from different manufactures. I don't have this issue on any of them. I even have ones that mist water and still don't have the same experience.

Really depends on how fast the company program the speed. Diveblues use to be like jet engines and loud. But this year's design they toned down the power so that the high pitch noise isn't as pronounced.
