Too many pieces to assemble the pole (obviously done to decrease shipping costs) would make this miserable to use much. This is one of those things you probably have to go pick up locally.

I've got this and honestly having more pieces is helpful because it's impossible to pick up whole anywhere fully assembled. You need to keep it vertical and keep adding the rods to the bottom, preferably with a second person.
It's a good item but harder to use than you think since it wobbles so much when anywhere near full length.

Reviews indicate this might not be usable beyond 16 feet, because it bows too much. Just something to keep in mind. I've been using the Fiskars pole saw for a over ten years now. Replaced the blade once, and I use the thing a lot! It only telescopes maybe 15 feet or so, but I doubt there are any available that you can manage to work with, once you get into the 20-foot+ range.
