Amazon Haul is turning up real name brand bargains, especially on hobby, office, and everyday essentials. The strongest finds include Pilot Iroshizuku fountain pen ink, disc golf discs, Sawyer water filters, Eneloop batteries, card supplies, and even ON whey protein and a USB mic. The lower free shipping threshold made it easier to stack useful orders. The main drawback is that the catalog takes digging, and prices can jump or the deal can end right at checkout. A sharp limited time haul if you can move quickly.

  • Lower free-shipping thresholds helped shoppers find deals on name-brand items without paying shipping.

    CyanPenguin266Afford

  • Limited-time pricing enabled strong discounts on specific categories like fountain pen ink and card-collecting supplies.

    DogheadMoneyTree

  • Some shoppers reported major savings on everyday and hobby items during the Haul window.

    ElatedWriter8455Protege

  • Waiting until the last minute still allowed purchases of card-collecting accessories at favorable per-item pricing.

    MoneyTreeWreckerALeX

  • Amazon Haul surfaced name-brand items like a Sawyer water filter for shoppers who had not noticed it before.

    MaroonDeer331

  • Sales tax was charged on the pre-discount amount, which shoppers found unfair.

    Protege

  • The deal ended at 11:59pm PST for some items, and checkout did not extend for Hawaii.

    Protege

  • Cart pricing reportedly doubled right before checkout, preventing a purchase.

    dontbanme

  • Finding non-generic options required digging, since many results felt similar to Temu.

Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!

I had a cart full of stuff, got buried in researching a last couple of things, and the day ended.

Missed it by 5 minutes.

Instead of researching the miady lithium batteries I bit the bullet, and checked out at 11:59 pst. I thought they might give it until midnight for the Hawaii folks but didn't want to risk it. Deal is dead.

why are we being charged tax on the before 50% off discount? Thats bs.
I think Amazon is "eating" the 50% off that's why we are essentially paying 2x are normal tax rate. It is what it is.

Yea. It was 50% off what you are seeing now. Not to mention the additional 10% off

Darn! Was about to checkout when the price of everything in the cart doubled! Wish they had an alert like 2 minutes left to checkout or something.

It was a great discount. Got 2x ON whey protein, electric shaker, some cases and glass for smartphone, USB mic, flannel shirt. Never used Haul before, I think many people missed this limited time deal.

Dang, I was specifically looking for Arkham Horror stuff, couldn't find anything, may have been late to the party, only found out about the haul sale two hours before end. What did you pick up for AH?

I made 2 sets of buys. 1 from shipped and sold by Amazon. They only charged me tax on what I bought. On the other order I had nothing sold by Amazon and I was charged tax on the pre discount total. I have never seen this. It doesn't even sound legal. How am I being charged 2x the tax rate?
