I bought mine 4 years ago from the Target deal for $155. It's great for 2 to 3 people for a quick cook. My problem with mine has been temperature control. I constantly dealing with temperature drops so I have to keep raising the temp. Temperature controls gets mixed reviews on Amazon so take a look. I recommend going for a bigger unit if you have the space so you only need to buy one. I bought a Weber SmokeFire EX4 with similar temperature drops but not as bad as the table top unit
Personal experience with temperature control with charcoal grills is using a fan control installed at the air flow control vent. I have tried both expensive and inexpensive models and an inexpensive model works fine I do like pellet grills for the conveniences +just have to vacuum the dust). Smilie

I have this unit and it's so portable in the back of my car. I pair it with a large power station and I cook everywhere with it. So easy to use, but the temperature truly is it's weakness, it cooks colder than the monitor says if my meat thermometer is correct. But I always smoke it quite slow so it doesnt really bother me. It's harder to get a seat, but I mainly want the smoke to get into the meat. Meats are just so much better after smoking it.

I recommend it for its portability, otherwise get the biggest smoker you can afford if you have space for more stable temperature.

This + large Power station= party!
