  • Valid only for personal use at EVgo-owned locations.
  • Expires a limited time after redemption.
  • EVgo requires a valid payment method tied to the account in order to redeem promo codes.
  • Promo codes can only be applied in the EVgo app and not their website. Account signup is buggy in the website - it is recommended to sign up via their mobile app.

No, there are many chargepoint level 2 locations you can use within the evgo app
I know that but the promo code says fast charging in the title and evgo owned stations.

Although I have been able to use evgo promo codes ro charge at chargepoint

Does anyone know how to tell which promos have been redeemed? All of mine still show as active but I've certainly burnt through most of them by now
When you redeem a code it just adds to your credit. Go to Payment & Billing then Transactions. You'll see your remaining credit at the top.

Does these credit work on chargepoint locations also? They specifically say EV-Go owned locations. Also is this only for fast charging?
Last time I used credits, they worked at ChargePoint. You just had to activate the session through the EVgo app. Not all locations may be eligible though so make sure the site shows up when you look for partner network chargers.

SDers reported these credits. can be used at ChargePoint L2
The credits from May will expire end of June.
Thanks. Didn't know that. Went to "filters" and selected "show partner stations" and selected "ChargePoint". There are two ChargePoint Level 2 chargers in a parking lot I'm going to tomorrow. They used to be free, but started charging for them about a year ago, so I don't use them anymore, and they are always available now that the aren't free.

I'll try charging via the EVgo app directly (not via Chargepoint app). And see if they will draw down some of the $5 codes I have been trying to use up. Then I could actually use these codes. Lots of Chargepoint stations where I'm out, but EVgo are few and far between, and most are dead and nobody ever fixes them.

I've used all my credit the past weekend. Their price is surprisingly more expensive compared to other providers.

Been using EVgo app but my credit still remains the same and charge sessions at $0 for the last month. Is anybody else getting this?

Code added last month going to expire on end of June, use it or loss it.
I'm not certain that's correct as I've got several from March and April that haven't expired. I think the 30 days only begins once you actually use them for the first time.

this is the worst charging experience I have generally. their network is small and often has some or even all pumps (looking at you, baker / road the vegas) out of order
I have a feeling that you are not tied to the network

I love these EVGO credits. This will make $85 in credits over the past year, lol. I use their chargers when I visit family in Chicagoland, and I've barely paid anything. Couple that with Ionna rolling out locations all over the place, and the challenge to find cheap public charging has really lifted over the past year.
So they don't really expire ?

Just search within the app with where you are/are going. That'll be your answer.
Simple answer would have been -yes

I didn't answer that way bc I don't study who owns what stations. Just like anything and what everyone should abide by in life..instead of potentially giving out misinformation, just check the source. You need the app to use the damn thing anyway.
