This thing was available on Newegg a couple years ago for $100. I picked it up back then and still want my money back.
The thing buzzes like barber's shears under 50% load. The fan has only one speed and sounds like a small vacuum cleaner. Additionally a number of these units suffer from a problem where that fan simply does not turn off until you power cycle the PC.
I recently began running into issues with my PC randomly hard crashing under heavy GPU load (~340W) for a total system draw of about 430W. Problem went away when I swapped in an older 850W Seasonic PSU.
Mine was received with no outer box. Somewhat typical, but could hear parts banging around inside. Unit had been previously opened, was missing accessories, and missing the packing foam inside.
What is the point in Amazon having the used and warehouse options if they just sell that shit as new anyway?
I bought mine open box on Tues morning and got an add'l 20% off at checkout. I had made a post a/b it, but then it got merged w/ someone else's post discussing a similar topic which may have already been published before mine.
