Fantastic deal - the new ones are nice but 3-4x nice? I don't think so, in for 1!

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless stands out for strong sound, long battery life, and comfortable all day wear, with touch controls and case auto shutoff also drawing praise. At $129, the price looks especially attractive for the performance, and the warm sound signature compares well with Bose and Sony. The main caution is Best Buy open box condition, which can arrive pristine or show dents, scratches, or missing pieces. A solid value if the unit lands in good shape.

  • Listeners who want strong sound under $200, because the audio is described as very good for the money at this price.

  • Listeners who want reliable automatic shutoff, because the headphones turn off in the case every time.

These used to be good but it feels like their R&d budget now goes to marketing.

Sound good, features suck, build quality is okay, but not great.

For this price, very good sound for the money. If it was new, I'd say very good deal.

Has anyone had a good experience buying open box from bb? I have now done 4 and select excellent every time and every single time the item arrives with giant dents, scratches, and even chunks missing. The closest thing to like new is the fact the all have come in the oem box with all accessories or packaging.

These are excellent, in particular if you buy the extra Bluetooth adapter that supports additional codecs. They were a great deal for under $200 for BF and around the Christmas Holidays. $129 is a great price for these

Bought this exact thing -- Momentum 4 in denim -- this morning from my local BB in "Good" condition for $119.
Looked brand new, still had the stickers on the outside of the earpieces. The USB cord and the 3.5mm/2.5mm cord weren't prettily coiled and the safety pamphlet was badly refolded, but the carrying case and the headphones are pristine. Very happy with the purchase so far.
(Didn't know that the Momentum has a 2.5mm plug in the headset instead of the typical 3.5mm plug until I bought them. Would rather a standard 3.5/3.5mm, but they had other plans.)

Sennheiser's consumer division has been sold at least twice in recent years so it's not surprising.

I bought these exact headphones, open box excellent, in this exact color sometime before Thanksgiving. They arrived next day iirc in pristine condition with all the accessories and (opened) original packaging. I think I paid $150, maybe $160. Happy with the purchase even at that price. Great sounding headphones leaning warm but not overly so imo, and pretty easy to listen to. Battery life is unbelievable. I use them pretty regularly and only had to charge them couple of times since I bought them. I really like the color and I think they look better than the competition from Sony and Bose. I bought a pair of B&W couple of months later and they maybe look slightly more premium but not by much. Touch controls are more reliable than any other I tried though not 100%. I had a chance to wear them for several hours on few occasions and they didn't hurt my head at all. Very comfortable actually but my ears get hot sometimes. This is the only complaint that I can think of. I don't experience this with B&W but I probably like Sennheiser sound signature a bit more. Auto shut off feature when placed in the case is awesome and works every time.

These are great headphones, a step above many others and my wife loves hers. I still prefer my Bose headphones and earbuds, because they don't touch or hurt my ears after hours of wearing them. I'm a person who wears mine for at least 5 hours a day. Sound quality on the Momentum 4 is just about as good as Bose and certainly as good as Sony. Only difference is the noise cancelling is much better on the Bose, but then again it's Bose, they perfected NC

Last 2 times I've had to return both items. One was an xbox controller and I forget what the other was ... the controller was dirty and looked like someone used it for a year and then returned it or something ... it was so gross. Can't imagine what a headset would look like.
