The platinum elite rarely goes on sale, especially anything above the carryon size. I have this size in 10+ year old of the older model, we like the wheels and it's held up well with a decent warranty.

I made a warranty claim on the 21" spinner (the top handle material was coming off). I was hoping they'd send me a new handle but they said they no longer had the part, so they let me choose a new bag in the plat elite line and I kept the old bag. All I did was cut out the product and serial number tag on the old bag and send them a picture proof that I did, so I can't make another warranty claim on it but it's still useable. I paid ~$35 for shipping for the new bag.
