This is a very cheap digital tire pressure gauge that stands out for convenience and surprisingly decent readings at the price. The backlit LCD and nozzle light make it easy to use, and the gauge is described as working great, even matching a compressor gauge closely. The main drawback is the LR44 coin batteries, which are seen as inconvenient to replace and a possible failure point in an emergency. Build quality is also called flimsy by some, and Presta adapters reportedly do not work well. A tiny backup gauge if the battery tradeoff does not bother you.
Common Questions (5)
It is repeatedly described as very cheap, flimsy, and low quality. At this price it can still be usable as a backup, but it does not feel like a premium tool.
Yes. It uses LR44/AG13 coin batteries, which is the main tradeoff for the low price. That makes it easy to keep as a backup, but less convenient than models that use standard AAA batteries.
It can be surprisingly accurate for the price and has been matched against a large compressor gauge. It also has reports of being not very accurate, so it is best treated as a budget gauge rather than a precision tool.
The deal comes out to about $2.19 after tax with the code, and one comment notes 7% back with no-rush shipping. The coupon appears to apply to only one unit.
Presta adapters tend not to work on this gauge. If you need to measure Presta valves often, this is a practical limitation to factor in before buying.
