I have two of these. They work great but they eat batteries, 8 AA's last around 4 months for me.
The Eufy E31 has a rechargeable lithium internal battery, plus a sensor to auto-lock the door when closed. The C series only supports a timer auto-lock.

the C220 is a good fingerprint lock but for $20 more you can get a newer much better model with rechargeable battery. I upgraded all of mine.
The absolute only issue that I have ever had is in the rain, if water get on the sensor on the lock itself, you need to dry it for your fingerprint to be readable. This problem exist with both but is more noticeable on the older C220.

Don't buy Eufy door locks. They do not support their products. Uses AI a lot. The last AP update screwed up the managed access code so you couldn't create or edit any codes for anyone. This included remote opening the door. It's not worth it.

I had the C33 for a year and half. So far no issues. I use rechargable lithium AA batteries(brand Xstar).

one of the best purchases I have ever made

I charge my AA batteries every 6 months.

If you do get rechargable lithium AA batteries, get ones with step down voltage to indicate low battery, such as XStar & HW

I have been using this lock for a year and a half, and it is an excellent product. It has never experienced any issues and operates reliably under all conditions. My front door is exposed to intense, direct afternoon sunlight; during summer evenings, the lock even becomes hot to the touch, yet it has never frozen or failed to function.
