So this is a 2230 nvme inside from the looks of it...Can this drive be taken apart and harvested as a 2tb nvme for PC? In this market I can't be the only one thinking this as I haven't seen a 2tb drive under $300 lately. Internal series X drives are the same form factor and one of those is running as my primary ssd on a gaming PC so I'd imagine it's doable?

Not actually a horrible deal in today's market. Ugh lol.

In before the "i bought it for $99 a year ago" comments that are worthless

What's amazing (and terrible) is that a couple years ago people were trying to use regular NVME drives with Xbox to save money. Now people are trying to use Xbox drives on a pc to save money. Crazy times

Lowest historical price that I could find was $179.99 back in April 2025.

This is a decent deal considering the current market, so with all the new releases coming out, I decided to jump on it. Thanks!

I can't find images of a teardown, but apparently inside is a simple 2230 M.2 NVMe, so this is shuckable.
