YMMV - at my local Lowe's in North Florida.

It's the 21469 model with the 8ah battery.

If anyone has insights on this versus the ego 800/1100, do share! I felt it and felt much "cheaper" than the other options. But at this price, I may go back and get it.

For reference I own a Honda HRX217 that I picked up dirt cheap from home depot when Honda stopped selling/making gas for the US, it was like a $1400 mower that I got for $560. I'll be buried with that mower, everything about it feels premium. Not $1400 premium but ridiculously solid. My 12yo wanted to start his own little mowing business in our development (which he's doing quite well with) and I didn't want him messing with gas or having issues starting it and me not being present. I went down a rabbit hole and eventually settled on the EGO 800 for two reasons, battery platform, a lot sales/deals/pretty cheap second hand market prices. I looked heavily into toro, my old mower was a toro recycler with a 163cc motor I believed and I genuinely liked it before I got the Honda with a 200cc motor. The toro 60v platform isn't super highly adopted from what I can tell, it's more niche, a lot claim underpowered from YouTube videos I saw and even tho EGO's batteries are also crazy expensive, they're available much cheaper with kits and freebies. His mower is nice, not my Honda nice, you can tell it's mostly plastic and I'd rate it like 7 out of 10 if my Honda is a 10, the toro I felt at Lowe's feels like they took a base model recycler and threw a E motor on it, I wasn't impressed with it at all, the ego was definitely nicer. If I were you I'd spend the extra $150 and find/wait for the 800 sale that's $650 that comes with the extra battery. The cut quality on the ego really impressed me, it's darn near what my Honda puts out and honestly I never bag and it mulches just as well as the Honda and leaves little to no trace of clippings. I'd say overall cut quality is between my old toro and my Honda. We haven't tested the ego with like 8-10" overgrown grass but even if it was that high you could step it down with two passes. The main reason I didn't go with the extra power of 1000 was battery life/battery consumption, you get about the same runtime between the 800/1000 with the 1000 using a 10ah and the 800 a 7.5, I went with the 800 for the fact that if for some reason he ran out of juice (he has 2-7.5) he could grab like the 4ah from his blower and finish a job and probably get 35 mins or so out of it where he might get 15-20 from the 1000. Sorry a lot of word vomit but we've had it since spring and had I never got that Honda I'd be more than happy with the 800 for my yard, it's impressed me that much. Btw neither me or him ever use the self propel, it's so light that I can mow faster than it goes, they had the 800 push only mower on sale for $449 on Amazon which is a steal, I almost bought one just to have it lol with the 7.5 battery it lasts well over an hour of runtime without using the propel
