Nongshim Hot and Spicy bowl ramen is a cheap, shelf stable quick lunch that works well as pantry backup or desk food. The low price lands around 75 cents per bowl, and Subscribe and Save brought the six pack down to about $3.90 to $4.12. It also takes add ins well, with broccoli, mushrooms, garlic, eggs, vegetables, tuna, or leftover chicken turning it into a fuller meal. The main drawback is the salty profile and the missing nutrition label on the listing.

  • Subscribe & Save plus a coupon can bring the 6-pack total to about $3.90.

    kida182001quonji

  • The shelf life is long enough to keep these as emergency backup food.

    rtisovecGuy767

  • These bowls work well for quick desk lunches when work runs long.

    rtisovec

  • The hot and spicy flavor can serve as a base for full meals with add-ins.

    monkeybiz

  • The listing does not show a nutrition label, which makes sodium comparisons harder.

    monkeybiz

  • The flavor blend may taste different from the US version, requiring extra seasoning.

    KimchiMandu

  • The soup can be very salty, so add-ins like broccoli and mushrooms may be needed.

These are great to stash in a desk if work runs long and you only have time for a quick lunch. They last a long time on the shelf.

It seems good value. I will add some garlic powder when cooking because US version Nongshim is blend for me.

I needed a change from dark green salads, I have never had these. I'll often add fresh broccoli, mushrooms and garlic to make salty chunky soup more palatable

I'm not certain if you can get two 6 packs with the discount, but there is also a 12-pack.

It's always nice to have these on hand as emergency backup food source or mixed with some chunk light tuna for a struggle meal when money is tight. Got 3 for $11.70 shipped; thanks OP.
