Amazon Fresh Espresso Medium Roast capsules are a very cheap convenience option for Nespresso Original machines, especially when the Subscribe and Save and buy 4 discounts stack to bring 200 capsules under $25. The aluminum pods and variety pack presentation are practical perks, and the low price makes them easy to justify for quick morning coffee or backup use. The main tradeoff is taste, which is repeatedly described as weak, stale, or worse than official Nespresso pods. A reasonable pick if price and convenience matter more than espresso quality.

  • The deal can stack Subscribe & Save with the 10% off on any 4 promo to bring the shipped total to about $21.54 for four sleeves.

    Guy767

  • The capsules can taste similar to Starbucks Nespresso pods, which may help if you want a familiar flavor profile at a lower cost.

    jelenap

  • The capsules can handle regular use with relatively few construction issues based on prior sales usage.

    dukebabylon

  • The aluminum capsules can work as an emergency or mixing option when other coffee runs out.

    Gweeds

  • The capsules can taste unpleasant, resembling stale office carafe coffee left sitting all day.

    RacinReaver

  • The capsules can be among the worst espresso experiences, with some people not even taking the variety pack for free.

    RacinReaver

  • The pods can deliver poor coffee quality that makes some buyers unwilling to drink them despite the low price.

    Gweeds

  • The capsules can be disappointing for people who prefer freshly ground beans instead of preground pod coffee.

I have an Instant Pot Pod, 3-in-1 Coffee Maker that I put away because capsules were just too expensive to justify the space it took up as it was never used. Looks like thanks to this deal it's going to come out of retirement. I'm in for two for about $14 shipped; thanks OP

Scratch that; I'm in for four at $22 shipped via S&S 15% off and Buy 4 get 10% off discounts; thanks again OP.

"tastes similar to the Starbucks Nespresso pods" - I'll pass. It's a great price but I didn't get Nespresso machine to drink bad coffee. Many comments also mention bad pod quality.

I bought a buttload of their variety pack a long time ago when they were absurdly cheap thinking "how bad could they be?" Some of the worst espresso I've ever had. Brought my capsule machine into the office to try and give them away. People aren't even taking them for free, lol.
Probably a good choice if you're trying to kick the coffee habit, but still find yourself falling to occasional cravings.

I switched from Nespresso new pods to original line because it's cheaper. Calling these expensive got me shook. Anywho i use an espresso machine now to save more in the long run, but Pods were very convenient

Guess mileage may vary but out of the 300+ I've used since the last sale maybe five had construction issues. That's pretty good in my book. I've had better coffee but I've had a LOT worse. Gets the job done.

I have the same maker and have to ask, have you found a compatible reusable pod for the normal coffee pods? Every company I've contacted says theirs isnt.

That is EXACTLY what I thought. . . "How bad could they be?". This is a really good price but anyone feeling bad about missing the deal. Don't! If you enjoy a good cup of coffee, this is not it. I ended up tossing most. I kept them for a while as my 3rd cup of coffee or mixing flavored protein powder, iced, collagen. . . my emergency I am out of other coffee! My one positive comment (other than price and that they are aluminum) - the variety pack looked nice in my coffee jar! Smilie
