The oscillation is 180 degrees which, if that works for you great, but it's too wide of a range for most places we want to use it; and,
Anything above velocity level 5 or so (1-10) causes a high-pitched air noise that I think is pretty obnoxious.
We bought it for the bedroom and eventually ended up moving it to the living room because the air noise at night was intolerable to me. It's like a high-pitched version of white noise, it sounds like it's hissing at you. It's not super loud, but the tone itself was just not pleasing. In the living room we don't really notice it.
The app could be better too — the scheduler is pretty weak and the ability to limit oscillation range clearly exists because you can do it on their air purifiers in the app, but not for this one.
It looks cool but I don't think I'd buy it again.
Community Reviews
The MF10 is a stylish bladeless tower fan that stands out for strong airflow, upward and multi angle circulation, and smart controls like Alexa and app scheduling. It can help move cool air across a bedroom or larger room, and the hidden blades in the base give it a sleek look. The main drawbacks are the high pitched noise at higher speeds, a wide 180 degree oscillation that can take up space, and an app that feels weak. It seems better suited to an office or living room than a quiet bedroom.
Common Questions (5)
It can be whisper-quiet on low, but higher speeds and oscillation can produce a high-pitched hiss or cricket-like noise that is distracting at night. Several users found it better suited to a living room or office than a bedroom.
It has strong airflow for a stylish fan, but meaningful cooling often requires running near the higher speeds. At low settings it may feel weak beyond about 5 feet, and the strongest settings can become noticeably loud.
The blades are hidden in the base, but that does not eliminate dust buildup; it can make cleaning harder because the blades are still there. The design is mainly a visual change rather than a clear airflow advantage over a normal fan.
No. The oscillation is limited to 180 degrees, which can be too wide for some setups, and the app does not let you limit the range the way Dreame air purifiers can. The fan also uses a multi-angle/upward airflow pattern that helps circulate cooler air upward.
MF10DEALS can still work, but in the Amazon app you may need to tap the arrow in the promo code box to apply it before continuing. Without that step, the discount may not appear.
