These are different than what they sell on their eBay store for 1700 ish. These are the mega. Notice the terminal differences and the emergency shutdown. That said I have the eBay version and when connected with the app it lists that version as the mega. They also list active balancing with the mega and maybe better cells. It's the Chinese so who knows unless you do a tear down.

My understanding is that these cost about 800-900 to make so the other amount is their shipping and distribution costs. If you pick it up at their warehouse in nj or ca they will knock off 300 bucks.

I have dealt with them for over a year. Their customer service is pretty good but after getting more comfortable with solar over the past year will go to a direct china reseller on AliExpress. Ecoworthy products are 25-35% overpriced but great for a beginner

This is a very good price for fully assembled. My pair of DIY batteries was roughly 25% less than this and that was direct from the vendor including DDL.

I have these exact batteries from Ali Express. I'm happy other than undersized output cables with proprietary connectors. I have not addressed that yet. I paid ~$800 less than this.

This appears to be a very good deal. Esp considering that one comparable EG4 battery cost nearly as much as two of these.

The older 280Ah batteries are often around there, and once I did see the newer higher capacity, but still not UL-listed/compliant battery for $1650 in a pack of 4, but this one has the integrated extinguisher and other things required for UL-compliance.

The cables I received seem to be correctly sized for 150AMP discharge (AWG1 copper<24" for non-critical, i.e. less than 10 percent Vdc drop), and it's a standard Selphos/Amphenol connector that looks to be used not just on E-W batteries, but also the EG4 batteries. I suppose you have a point that since it's rated for a 200A discharge, you should have got 2/0 copper cable, but I'm not aware of Selphos connectors that can take that size. If you're going to sustain 200A, then maybe the better option is to get a pair of cables and use a busbar since the batteries each have two sets of terminals?

I'm sure there's somebody out on diysolarforum who either has replaced the terminals with studs or has found/built an adapter.
