I'd rather buy an electric mountain bike that I have to pedal for $5000.
That you GET to pedal. I have an older friend with a Turbo Levo SL and it rides like a normal mountain bike, but helps him keep up when he needs some assist, especially on the climbs.

Check your local laws before purchasing. In most places these are illegal to ride in public unless it's off road vehicle trail.

45mph? I believe you'll have to be licenced for this pretty much everywhere if not required to register it too

Ummm, it's a dirt/pit bike,...they're ad may show some street riding, but that's misleading as this is not a street legal bike and definitely not a mountain bike

Are you serious? You want your kids riding around 45mph? Idk wtf is with braindead parents lately. I saw a 5 yr old riding a electric scooter flying down the sidewalk all by himself the other day. And a couple months ago 2 kids on e bikes decided to run a stop sign and turn the wrong way down a 1 way street. RIP. Neither survived. Moral of the story don't but kids things they are not ready for.

Got my first dirt bike when I was about 8 in mid 70's. My older brothers spent a couple of hours teaching me to ride and work the clutch and gears. They then turned me loose to be on my own. Ya, flying down the gravel roads and trails unsupervised was some of the greatest times to have been had. Riding through town to get to the trails was great too,...felt rebellious to put a dirtbike on public roads.
