I bought this yesterday with the extra 7% Cash Back on my Amazon Store Card, and today apple announced price increases in effect 9AM EST this same exact model is now $1200 on Apple's website. Not sure how long until Amazon increases their price.

Although I'd argue that regardless of the price increase, make sure the $900 is still within your budget. Don't buy it just because the price went up, as that only reinforces these companies' choices. They should be at our mercy, not the other way around. No one else cares about your budget but you.

Amazon showing 8% back with Prime Visa and No-Rush shipping, matching the $827 for a "Used - Like New" from Amazon Resale that has been in and out of stock the past few days. Probably as good a deal we'll see unless (until?) AI price inflation reverses at some point. There's also the M4 iPad Pro at Target for $799 minus 5% with Red Card if you're okay with the prior generation model.

Best Buy will take my m2 pro 13" for $500. Will upgrade to the m5 11" before the price increases. The additional 8% prime slow delivery will make this almost $800. After 4 years a $300 upgrade is worth it before the massive price increases.

M5 has more RAM than M4 but I've never felt my M4 pro to be short on any computing power. If you're in the market for an ipad, I'd panic buy the M4 as I think it will be pretty future proof and is a great device. However, it's still expensive and a laptop would be better for most use cases.

I went with the M5 and more RAM because that's a big difference in RAM and might not be a big issue now but could in the future... and the price wasn't really that much more... also M5 has Wi-Fi 7 and faster memory bandwidth.
I also got 8% back on my Amazon Store Card. Don't know why they seem to be jumping around between 7% and 8% back.
