Condition is Used – Very Good with 9 in-stock.

Sold by SKG RN (95% positive, 56 lifetime ratings) rather than Amazon Resale.

HW-Q900C is no longer in production, but it was Samsung's upper-tier flagship-class soundbar until the 2025 lineup replaced it.

No HDMI 2.1 / 4K120 passthrough. Otherwise, the hardware is fairly similar to the Q990C, sharing the same subwoofer and much of the processing, but without the included rear speakers (7.1.2 vs Q990C's 11.1.4 setup).

The Samsung HW Q900C is a 7.1.2 soundbar that stands out for easy expansion and solid used condition when it arrives intact. Rear Atmos speakers can be added with the 9500S satellites, which have paired instantly with existing setups and have been seen around $150 to $200. Used units have arrived with rough boxes but excellent soundbar and subwoofer condition, all accessories included, though some have shown scratches, a bent grill, or static in modes other than standard. A capable home theater upgrade if the shipping holds up.

  • The soundbar can pair instantly with an existing 9500s setup.

  • The used unit can arrive with a rough outer box while keeping the soundbar and subwoofer in excellent condition.

  • Rear satellite speakers can be added using compatible Samsung or Best Buy rears that pair with the soundbar.

  • Atmos rears can be added, with examples showing around $200 open-box pricing for 9500S rears.

  • The soundbar may not make sense for gaming that needs HDMI 2.1 or 4K 120Hz support.

  • The soundbar may have a single HDMI input limitation that prevents 120Hz passthrough to the TV.

  • Some sound modes outside of "standard" can produce loud static noise during use.

  • The subwoofer can arrive scratched up, which may indicate shipping damage.

Glad it worked out for everyone. Ironically, I've been experiencing issues utilizing any sound modes with every mode outside of "standard" producing a loud static noise. The subwoofer came fairly scratched up too - likely tied to the poor shipping.

Mine shows a minor bent grill on one side but it doesn't seem to affect the sound.
