which proves that righties are fishing incorrectly by reeling with their non-dominant hand! Wink

Wouldn't the non-dominant hand of a righty be the left hand??? When I fish a spinning rod, I use my left hand but that's usually a salt water situation and my right arm is stronger.

Left handed are designed for right handed fishers just as the only thing that existed before the "right handed" were designed by a person who was left handed .
They are only right handed because majority of people are right handed and for hundreds of years there only existed the handle on right side.

If flights were cheaper I'd fly across country and pick up a couple dozen of these

I'm a righty and I've always used right handed reels.

The best way I can explain it is that the torque needed to reel is always best done by your dominant hand. The "lefties" users always argue that you need your dominant hand to set the hook, yet when they're reeling, they look like a lost kid with their super weak left handed reeling. You can always use your body as leverage to set the hook, no one sets it free hand.

Plus, I can use both reels with almost the same skill.

Left handed users cannot do the same. Everyone in my group are lefties, and they can't reel a right handed reel to save their life 🤣
This is of course bass fishing though. Never fished saltwater so I can't comment on much on that.
I also use a lefty spinning reel, but the reeling motion of spinning reels is much larger and feels more comfortable.

That's weird. Every kid who picks up a reel at Walmart gets an education in reeling right handed. Rare that none of the people in your group tried a fishing pole when they were 10.

You have it backwards. Reeling should be done by the non dominant hand and casting and working the rod by the dominant hand. If you don't believe me, why do all right handed reel people cast with their right hand and then swap to their left?
