According to AI:

-If the current price you're seeing is $1,299–$1,399, that is excellent and near the historical low.
- If it's $1,499–$1,599, that is normal retail and still fair for an RTX 5070 + 32GB DDR5 system.
- Anything above $1,699 is not a good buy unless stock is constrained.

For gaming it's fine as you dont need the extra cores. You won't be CPU limited with a 5070. I run a 13th gen i5 with my 4090 and saw no difference in gaming than when I had a 13th gen i9.
