I have another one this style. It's not 100%, but it gets a lot of the roots without leaving as big a hole as other options. I live in a dry climate and it's best to use after rain or watering so the roots don't break off in hard dirt.

I agree, but its 3 times the price. If you have a lot of weeds its worth the extra money, or waut for it to go on sale, otherwise this seems like it will do for light work.

Looks like the one I got, for a bit cheaper even. Feels sturdy, been working well. It does leave a big hole. You'll have to shake the dirt back into the hole, or have a bag of dirt to fill the hole with. Something I saw on TV or Youtube, and actually works.
