Isn't 256gb of storage pretty limiting for a gaming tablet? There doesn't appear to be an sd card slot
Lenovo stupidly removed the SD card slot from the gen 3. They brought it back for the gen 4. I'd go for the long wait and wait for the gen 4 to be discounted.

This doesn't seem like a very slick price for a gen 3...
This is pretty much normal price as deals happen often enough to get it to this price. If it hits $300, I'll bite. This is pretty much nearing end of life. It will get this year's Android 17 as the final OS and security updates ends in 2028.

Depends on what you want to do with it, but I've had no issues using it with a Legion G9 controller to convert it into a handheld. I absolutely love it.
Besides, Solid Explorer makes it really easy to setup FTP file transfers.
2 USB-C ports. Connect a portable SSD to it, use a magnet to attach it to the back. Won't be able to install Android apps to it, but with Winlator, Gamenative, Gamehub and such, you can install Steam games to external storage. 8 gen 3 can emulate some pretty recent games at modest settings. Just don't unplug the drive while the tablet is on.

It's very much like a laptop experience. There's an automagic PC mode you can allow when the kbrd connects. I haven't decided on a mouse yet.
For me this tab is an ipad killer. I'm so glad small android tabs are back and kicking ass.
