Loved this as a kid. Great story and characters and definitely hugely influential on YA fiction overall as a genre. May snag it for a reread.

Terry Brooks is one of my favorite authors. I loved his Landover series.

While I liked how he eventually tied his series together (Shannara, lorewise, is an 'after the end' type of story), it gets seriously weird about 6 books after this series.
