there was a Lenovo ideapad deal - new with RTX 5500 for like 750 a month or 2 ago, not sure if you want to wait for something like that

I suggest you understand the difference between a gaming laptop vs a creator laptop, first. The IdeaPad you're referring to came with a low wattage 5050 and 120Hz display, while this comes with a 115W 5050 and 144Hz display, making this more suitable for gaming.

What does certified refurbished mean? A unit that failed during its production process - or a unit that was sold and failed - went back to the manufacturer, repaired and now getting listed as certified refurbished?
