20% discount is great. But the catch is southwest is now not cheaper at all. you can fly delta for the same or slight higher cost with much greater experience.

I fly at least 20-30x/year and just flew SW to MKE, only because it was the only non-stop option. Still no outlets or USB charge ports in seats. Very out of date, so I suppose a 20% discount makes them competetive over other major carriers, I dunno, but generally not a great experience and the increased cost for "upgraded seats" on SW is laugable.
Edit, and the free wifi was spotty at best.

only being able to use 3 payment methods total is such a frustrating exercise. I had to book more expensive flight to consolidate, cancel, rebook, repeat.

there are loopholes to get around their lame system .. one of them involves using a GC. but I don't think I 'wanna' be trapped w/them
