Brightness is ok for indoor I have seen below 300, example 250. 15.6 size for 1080p in general shouldn't be too bad for pixels but that information PPI isn't listed.One thing you need to keep in mind is this,
Response Time: 20 milliseconds
it is on the slow side not good for FPS gaming.
You also need to consider the ports might be the first to give up. Usually ports are the first to go unless used as regular stationary display.
For $37.xx does those disadvantage matter?

Sorry if I am overcomplicating this, I'm basically trying to figure out a way to use an extra monitor for document review for about 6 hours, without having to carry around an additional power strip as well.
