I'm in SoCal w/SDG&E so my power rates are redonkulous. I have solar and with my utility switching super off peak hours to when solar is generated, I'll get screwed unless I capture some of it. I don't want to go through the hassle of a powerwall etc.. think this will be fine for peak power TOU arbitrage.
I believe ROI for me @ ~150-300watts of 24/7 usage is around 3-5 years. That's just charging during solar generation hours and using during peak hours. Might be much quicker ROI depending on load and future rates.
