The 650CFM blower with the 5Ah battery for $199 is the better deal, it's no knock against this blower but they're virtually identical and this one's $50 more. In real world application you won't notice that extra 100cfm as it's only in turbo mode with a specific nozzle, I wouldn't be shocked if they use the same motor/fan with a slightly different housing.

This battery gets a smidge heavy when blowing for awhile. I love the longevity but prefer my 2.5's on the blower.

I believe the charger is better in this one, if that make a difference. 320W charger vs. a 210W charger in the other bundle.

I bought the 199 bundle yesterday. Supposed to be delivered today. Is this one worth the bump in cfm?

It's "better" but if you're already in the ecosystem you have more chargers than you need as is. Both of these deals are great but the batteries are the pricey thing, I personally don't think this one is worth the extra 50 considering the battery is the same. I looked up the motor for each and they are identical, the extra CFM is marketing and there's even a disclaimer that it's only on turbo with the narrow head. The 650 doesn't have any disclaimer. So your essentially paying an extra $50 for a charger that might charge your battery 10 mins faster

Thank you for doing your homework on the motor on these. Gave rep points.

The faster charger is not something a homeowner wants. It will lessen the life of your lithium battery. The only ones who need it are commercial guys who can't afford down time and affluent people who have no problem buying another battery much sooner. I've had a couple of standard chargers go bad. Just as I do with Milwaukee.

The one thing I learned early about EGO batteries is to keep them inside the home, temperature controlled. Garage still causes early death with heat and cold. Ego batteries are way too susceptible to temp changes. No clue why.

There are some interesting "fixes" to supposedly dead EGO batteries. One of them is dropping them from 12 inches high. You can find a hundred YT videos on it. Wish I knew about this a few years ago.

I checked the listing. Gives the four offerings of blowers. Each has their own reviews and ratings. Shockingly, amazon usually lets you be decieved unless you hard look. The $199 set has very high ratings compared to this set. But most people here drink corn syrup with soy and will buy anyway.

Had bad luck with Ego lately. 2 month old mower died. Mowed front lawn, worked great, parked it ate dinner and went to mow back lawn. Dead. Took it in for service, dead circuit board.

Blower same thing was blowing with it, worked great, set it down, came back to use it a couple hours later. Dead. Bad capacitor.

Yikesss, hopefully this doesn't become a trend.

I haven't had any issues with any of mine aside from a charger, but they were quick to replace it. The mowers come with a 5 year warranty though, right?

is the 650 the older model? I believe the 670 is the newer version of that model. It has better circuitry to reduce damage when using the turbo mode for extended periods

Yeah, I am also leaning towards the $199 deal. I'm not a big believer in quick charging batteries but to each his own.

The comments above got me debating wether I should go with with 650 for $50 cheaper.
It mostly depends on what you are going to be using it for. For yard work (leaves, grass, debris) the 650 seems more than adequate. I am going to be using it for some yard work and also drying off my cars. I like to wash and detail my families cars myself. The reviews say that the 765 is better balanced making it "feel lighter" and the base is broader and easier to grip when holding upright.
For me the 765 seemed like a better fit.

Also, I think the 650 is an older model. The 670 is the updated model. I don't know the differences between the two.
