Macbook pro $1999 with 1TB
$1699 was with 512GB

Edit I am just clarifying - the price jump is $200 not $400 for the 1 TB version. Base 512GB is gone.

Not a problem for me as they have obviously been eating the rising costs of components for some time. One thing I am not a fan of is the hike on neo. It was at the perfect price to make sense for new consumers to be introduced into the ecosystem and stay a long term apple customer, eventually moving up the Mac product chain. Their stock dropped significantly which could be a good opportunity to make some money to offset the rising costs for buying a new Mac lol.

It's a shame that higher component prices could hurt Apple's $27 BILLION in profit for 2025. So pass it on to the consumer.

It doesn't matter! They aren't hurting for money. But most of their customers are hurting for sure.

They discontinued the 512GB model, so the cheapest MBP is now the 1TB version.

Raising IPad and Apple TV prices that much is diabolical.

Just before I checked out. Had an air in my cart last night. Today, the hike.Unreal. As if they were needing to pull this shit. Prices should be dropping, if any changes. Are they raising trade in values as well? Doubt it.

They have not been eating the rising cost of components. Those contract prices for components are set well in advance of production. This increase reflects new manufacturing activity and component prices.

Price of memory chips has doubled since last autumn, because of AI demand.

Sadly, I know this. But that doesn't make me accept it. LOL.
