The Uncut/Unrated version of American Psycho (2000) primarily differs from the U.S. theatrical R-rated version by restoring about 18 seconds of footage that the MPAA forced director Mary Harron to edit to avoid an NC-17 rating.
The changes are very specific and minor, including:
Extended Sex Scene: The scene where Patrick Bateman has a threesome with two prostitutes (Christy and Sabrina) is longer. The unrated version shows slightly more graphic thrusting and contact.
Dialogue Change: In the same threesome sequence, Bateman's spoken line is slightly altered. In the Unrated cut, he says, "Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your a**hole." In the R-rated version, it was censored to, "so Sabrina can see your a**.
