Yes this drone is legal in US, this month i registered my new Mini 5 Pro bought from Ali Expess with FAA no problem, the server recognized the drone serial number is for Mini 5 pro and process my registration. It weighted above 265 grams.

Yes, It weighted 275 grams,with standard battery when i first turn on , the drone have message about ID signal. I registered on FAA web site, the server recognized it is Mini 5 Pro through the serial i provided, just $5 for 3 years.

I'm going to assume you bought yours from a South Korea seller for that price. Yes, I agree that the mini 5 pro (or any DJI drone for that matter) is cheaper from South Korea. But for those looking to buy it from an authorized US retailer, the bundle in this listing is a great deal.

I don't know much about this. What makes this a great price? Doesn't seem like it on first glance comparisons - are there more in this set that make it more valuable than the flymore at $1100?

Someone mentioned earlier that this bundle comes with four batteries compared to the three batteries the fly more combo includes. Though this bundle doesn't come with ND filters and the storage bag. One can find the filters and a better storage bag on Amazon or other places. Also this bundle is coming from an authorized US seller if that matters to you.

This is actually better for me than the Aliexpress deal since I have the payboo card and won't pay taxes. And I know if anything goes wrong, I won't be dealing with Aliexpress.

I just noticed the price drop to $949. Dang! I bought it a couple days ago from them for $999. Does anyone know if they do a price match adjustments?

b&h is not an authorized us retailer

it's 2026, there are technically zero left in the u.s. the list at dji.com is empty.

what good do you think being "authorized" does now, get you a warranty or care refresh?

yeah and dji and their "authorized" dealers sell the 4-battery combo, huh? no such combo from a no-such "authorized" dealer.

but I know, b&h is just selling the standard combo box and that throw in an extra single battery separately. still not authorized. LOL

in the u.s. nearly all m5p drones need to be registered whether it's using the standard or the plus battery.

since the plus battery is only a few $ more but the performance is much better than standard battery, it makes no sense to get the standard combo. exactly why b&h (and other retailers) are trying to give away these combos.
