Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank ob2kenobi

If you are one of those people who likes those fidget keyboard toys, this is that four times. The Kailh Box White switches keys are extremely satisfying to press. I much prefer them over the linear switches many other numpads have. But it's also missing features that other mechanical numpads have. Even ones that are cheaper.

Doesn't support alt-codes
Doesn't have num lock
It has a tiny non-standard plus key, that messes with my muscle memory
Can't be programmed in any way, no macros
No volume knob or media controls

The calculator mode is nifty for basic addition. But it only goes up to 999,999,999. So I can't use it to score for me in boardgames Big Grin

It basically exists to look cool, and be fun to fidget with. Now I like both of those things. So I like mine. Just be aware of the limitations.

It probably lacks many of those features because this is actually technically a companion to the full keyboards that do have these features, lol

Alt code support is the one thing I miss going from a keyboard with a numpad to a compact TKL one. Thanks for the heads up; saved me a return.
