I got in on that deal and it was incredible package offer. I think HD was stuck with double battery blister packs and was clearing them out. I recall when I tried to register them with Ryobi, it wasn't even in their system and I needed Customer Service to help get it in.

So not sure if it will be back. Your best chance might be closer to the holidays when HD might ramp up the double battery blister packs again for promotions.

6? I'd say your lucky. I've got two 8ah batteries in my grave yard. Ryobi tools aren't that bad, its the batteries that get you.

I have had one battery die and one battery become imbalanced. Meaning that it would only charge halfway. Using youtube videos, I safely discharged the high cells so they were all the same charge and then charged it normally to full. Since then, it is back working normally. So when you say die, do you mean it simply no longer charges or imbalanced?
