Meh, all the time Starkist is just 70c a can on Amazon and with Prime I get 5% cash back. Plus, while Starkist isn't the best it is better than Walmart brand, WMT is pure mush.

I have the complete opposite experience, Great Value drains cleanly and has firmer chunk consistency while brands like Sunkist and Bumble Bee are literal mush. Sunkist also has a notorious history of scamming the consumer. Chicken of the Sea is my preferred brand, but I also buy Genova when on sale.

I much prefer the Chicken of the Sea 48 pk I recently bought (60 cents/can) over the previously purchased Bumble Bee 48 pk (58 cents/can). The Bumble Bee had a strange consistency that you couldn't even really drain...like a weird brine or something.
Sunkist tuna? 😉That's not a bad idea maybe, orange tuna might work...
i eat way more canned tuna than is probably healthy, and my personal experience is that Walmart's tuna is more like wet cat food than a piece of actual fish. sunkist and bumblebee aren't a whole lot better. the expensive brands are definitely better quality, but as a compromise, i usually stock up on Van Camp's when it's on sale at my local Grocery Outlet
i guess it depends on what you're using it for, but i like to eat tuna straight from the can at 3am wearing only boxers, so i guess you could say i'm a bit more sophisticated in this matter
