I ordered the glass. I already do cold brew.
I also saw 2 of the plastic ones at a thrift store yesterday, but they were both missing the filter. I wonder what happened to the filters. Almost bought one just to have a spare pitcher, but I already have a couple other design cold brewers with pitchers.

Japenese iced coffee > cold brew. Give it a try if you havent already. It seems to be the perfect mix of hot and cold coffee.
Essentially its just brewing double strength coffee over ice so it cools immediately and isnt watered down by the ice melting.

That sounds like the 'special' setting in my keurig for iced coffeeSeems wrong somehow, the idea of watering it down, kind of like an Americano isnt regular coffee to me

I have one and love it. I let it sit in the fridge for 24hrs and have consistently good cold brew time and time again. The lid is leakproof as stated so I shake and flip the pitcher a couple of times while brewing to help the process along. This helps get all of the grounds brewed and it has never leaked on me. This is a great price. Thanks OP!

So the grounds don't get outside the filter when shaking it? Or do you use something more than just the filter? .... Nevermind. This is a different and better design than the brand I have. And of course glass is better than plastic, for the most part.

Interesting, The ones I saw had a place to attach the filter. Do they sell filters separately too?

I bought one off here awhile ago without the filter in case I broke one of my others ones. It has the same exact lid as the ones with the filters and the filters fit it just fine
