This MacBook Air M5 deal stands out for the 16GB and 1TB configuration at $1,149.99, with Midnight, Sky Blue, and Starlight still showing at that price. The 1TB setup is treated as a well rounded option, and the extra storage is viewed as worth the roughly $200 step up from lower capacity models. Costco is also cited as a close alternative with all four colors, a second year warranty, and lower AppleCare pricing. The main caution is that Apple pricing has been climbing quickly, so the deal may not last long.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. Midnight, Sky Blue, and Starlight were still showing at $1,149.99 without AppleCare at the time of the comments. The deal appears to be live across at least those color options.

  • The 16GB/1TB configuration was described as about $1,600 plus tax elsewhere, making $1,149.99 a large discount. The 1TB model was also noted as a $200 step up over a lower-storage option, which some considered reasonable.

  • Costco was cited as having all four colors at the same price, plus a second-year warranty included and a 90-day return policy. It was also mentioned that AppleCare costs about $160 more there, and the 512GB model was listed at $949 in Starlight.

  • Yes. The 1TB version was noted as having a 10-core processor instead of 8 cores on the lower-storage model. That difference may matter for performance, but the comments do not confirm how noticeable it is in everyday use.

  • AppleCare+ can be added, and one comment says it can reportedly be cancelled for a prorated amount. That makes it easier to try the coverage without being locked in if you later change your mind.

Just placed the order. This deal is crazy, considering the 16GB/1TB variant is $1,600 plus taxes.

Costco online has all 4 colors for the same price, plus you get the 2nd year warranty included. Apple Care is $160 more (vs $200). For those without the membership, even paying the $65 membership almost justifies the extra year of warranty or the savings of Apple Care. Plus the 90 day return policy.

And if you only need 512 SSD, it's $949 in Starlight.

don't you just get the 2nd year warranty as a Costco warranty?
